چکیده

The activity of some soil organisms can significantly influence the growth plants. One more common are Collembola, which play an important role in suppressing soil-borne pathogens such as Fusarium spp. Here, Folsomia candida was taken for laboratory studies. aim study to assess whether springtails wheat and pea purpose also evaluate Collembola will reduce occurrence fungal diseases, presumably by feeding on fungi. factors tested were (1) grown individually or mixture with pea; (2) number Collembola; (3) pathogenic presence plant fungus culmorum. experiment carried out four replicates each treatment two series. used test a field soil, sand, peat. following analyses performed: measuring decomposition rate, assessment infection, F. culmorum bodies. There no effect infection growth, although pathogen present root neck plants incubated this fungus. decreased colonies isolated from about 45% comparison pots without these organisms. biomass accelerated 7% moderate number. However, not related improved growth. Additionally, bodies indicating its ability feed To conclude, it found that decrease This issue needs further studies relation other species, well observed effects conditions.

Detection of RNA1 and RNA2 of Soil-borne wheat mosaic virus in winter wheat grown from infected seeds

A Polish isolate of Soil-borne wheat mosaic virus (SBWMV-Pol1) was characterized by limited pathogenicity and a low concentration of virus particles in infected plant tissues. The aim of this research was to consider the possibility of seed-transmission dissemination of the virus. Seeds of winter wheat cv. Muszelka served as material for the studies. Two methods were involved in the diagnostics...

Chemical Control of Nematodes and Soil-borne Plant-Pathogenic Fungi on Cabbage Tranplants.

Six general-purpose fumigants and one fungicide were applied by different methods and evaluated for control of nematode-fungus complexes on cabbage grown for transplant production. All chemicals reduced populations of nematodes and soil-borne fungi but varied greatly in effectiveness. Methyl bromide + chloropicrin (98% methyl bromide + 2% chloropicrin) (MBR-CP gas), DD + methyl isothiocyanate (...

Study of Zinc effects on quantitative and qualitative traits of winter wheat in saline soil condition

An experiment was conducted to optimize consumption of Zinc and evaluate of Zinc effects on quantitative and qualitative traits of winter wheat under saline soil condition. It was done by three replications in randomized complete block design. The experiment had four treatments as Control without Zn, 40 Kg.ha-1 Zn as ZnSO4, 80 Kg.ha-1 Zn as ZnSO4 in soil and 120 Kg.ha-1 Zn as ZnSO4 in soil. Ele...
